Whistling sound coming from the engine?! Will Chevy actual grow some nuts w/ the Camaro and put in a mean 500+ hp supercharged engine such as the LSA or LS8 or whatever??? I would cry tears of joy I think if it was remotely affordable...

Don't know what's under the hood of that specific car, but the front fascia, hood and wheels are SS. Not sure if those wheels will be standard or optional on SS, or if those same 20s will be available as an option on the V6. Also, those decals will be optional. Not sure if those are the final version though.

As far as the Z/28, a special team is putting that one together. There will be nothing "base" about it.

The slot will be non-functional.

I'm not so sure. I've had my share of differences with Charlie... but I do think he has rapport with a lot of experts in the field. I base this not just on what I've read on this site, but also on others.

As for these pix. I just think it's very cool to be able to see those stripes on a real car out on the road. I love the idea of some distinctive graphics on modern cars! It's a great way to differentiate them from all the anonymous-mobiles out there.

Good post.

If this is indeed the SS, and that whistling under the hood is a blower, then it seems most likely it will have the 550 horse LSA or LS8. Hard to imagine GM will bring out a Z28 with more power than that. I'd personally like to see a Z28 with a 450 to 475 hp naturally aspirated motor with a 1LE suspension that tears it up in the twisties.

i dont think GM will put any more than 475 hp in the car because then your starting to have people buying the top dog camaro instead of a Z06

WTF man, the photographer could only get one picture? If it were me I would have like 20 pictures to post here from every angle every time they had to stop at a light.
