I'm not nitpicking, I'm just curious. I originally thought typo as well but looks deliberate.

It's flywheel with everything hooked up as it would be in the car (net), vs flywheel without exhaust, air box or a drive belt (gross). Most places switched from gross to net ratings in the 1970's (72 here). Rwhp #'s would be much lower.
