Is anyone's order codes changing?
im still at 1100 ordered oct13th, called dealer on tuesday still no pulls for build, called 1-800 number for chevrolet customer service asked why the small dealers are not getting pulled for build, no real answers they take my name, number say they will call bvack they never call starting to sound like a bunch of BS to me, told dealer if he doesnt get a allotment for build within next two weeks to cancel my order, will buy the vette setting on his lot.
hey im right there with you. i placed my order the morning of oct 13th. still at 1100. im getting irritated, but no way in hell, would i wait this long and then back out at the last weeks. ive waited too long to turn back now. many times have i thought about getting a vette but i cant pull the trigger. i would have kicked myself every time i saw one driving on the road. im camaro blood through and through. vette guys are a totally different crowd than camaro guys.
Oh, and I have had Camaros before...a 94 Z28(totalled, rear ended in LA), a 95 Z28, and a 99 SS.
mines allocated at spot 8 of 12 from my dealership so im guessin june maybe july sound about rite to u guys? and all i have to do is call my dealership n they can tell me what number i am inline?
i dont know. i dont know you. but i have noticed that the vette guys are a different group of people compared to the camaro guys. kinda like porsche guy and ferarri. its just the crowd. dont take offence to my observation. my dads a vette guy. he would never buy a camaro. alot ofthe vette guys he hangs with , i can notice how they all act together and they jsut have a certain presence. not a bad thing. you can just tell them appart.
from jakerobb's observation, all the 16,000 units pre ordered should be built by end of may if his math was correct. they keep upping the amount produced each day.
That list is hand-created by Camaro fans who exhaustively scan the GM system, using a trial and error method of figuring out the next VIN in the sequence. There might be 3000-some Camaros built, but GM isn't broadcasting the VINs to the general public. Therefore, the volunteer efforts to create the 300-something list is cool by itself. They aren't going to keep it up for the whole season's worth of production, just until the interest versus tedium ratio begins to tip.
