According to the Chevrolet, the 2011 Chevrolet Convertible 2LT "Synergy Model Special Edition" will NOT have any seats. That's right, NO FRONT nor REAR SEATS.. Least according to www.chevrolet.com

Yeah there are quite a few bugs I see...

 

Maybe they'll give you some "special edition" milk crates.

 

They are going the Porsche route. Remove items from the car to make it lighter, and charge you more for it

 

I mean I can understand if they want to save weight and get better gas mileage but I just think if that is the way they want to go, removing the engine would reduce a LOT more weight and completely solve the high gas mileage issue. ;-)

 

I used to be the guy who managed the assets for the "Build your Own" parts of last year's Chevrolet.com web site before it went to a different company, and when they would come in, sometimes a layer would be turned off and I would have to send them back to the production house to fix it. This one either got overlooked, or it is a composite and the site isn't loading in a file for the seats.

It's all Chevrolet's way beat the mustang in gas mileage by removing as much weight as possible. It's a competitive world and sometimes you need to go the extreme to beat the edge.
