I have a friend who is a long time Honda owner. He recently told me about wanting to have a summer car. He was interested in the G8. I told him about the Camaro also. He was impressed with the numbers that this car is achieving. Although he could care less about the performance he figured why not get a V8.
I went with him so he could price out a Camaro. He really liked the 2SS IOM with RS package they had just received and decided that was what he would want.
We have also went and checked out the G8's. He really likes them also. The price is getting a little high for him though but said he would like either.
You all know what I said would be the best choice but what do you all think about this?

 

The G8 is dead after this year as Pontiac goes away, since it was not a big seller, value will go way down, except for true Pontiac collectors. Camaro will be strong seller, and with fuel milage standards V-8 might only last one or two years and retain it's value.

 

I don't know about that one. I'd say the GXP will go up in value down the road since Pontiac is going away.

 

Both cars are going to go down in value. The main question would be 2 doors or 4?
