Camaro Hood & Hockey Stripes no longer available as an LPO

To improve quality, the decision has been made to remove the Camaro Hood & Hockey Stripes as an LPO option. Effective with this week's production all pending / scheduled LPO ordered Camaro Hood and Hockey Stripes will be factory installed.

The stripes will still be available from your local dealer, in the event a customer desires stripes after a vehicle has arrived at the dealership.

Black Hood and Hockey Stripes
Discontinued LPO: VYQ
New RPO: DSC

Gray (previously Silver) Hood and Hockey Stripes
Discontinued LPO: VYR
New RPO: DSF

White Hood and Hockey Stripes
Discontinued LPO: VYP
New RPO: DSD

 

will this have any effect on cost of option?

 

I hate how the stripe package is applied onto the car it looks like they are putting window tint on the car body.
