Lightbulb What happen to the Camaro emblem?

Not sure if anything was said or even noticed but I would like to see the old Camaro emblem brought back as it would give me some nostalgic memories of my old '92 Camaro. Anyways just throwing that out there to see if I can get some light shined on it.

GM is trying to emphasize brand recognition. I'm sure you'll be able to get an aftermarket emblem if you wanted.

I agree. I think that emblem would look much better than that huge belt buckle-esque bowtie on the grill. That will be my first mod. Remove the bowtie!!!!!

!Bowtie!

AFAIK, no Camaro ever came from the factory with the crossed flags emblem on it.

And you would be wrong. 67's ONLY with V8's came with the crossed flags. Not sure why they dropped it in 68 and later, but they did. Other early to mid 60's Chevy's with V8's also had the crossed flags. Then they were all dropped and only the Corvettes kept them.

Learn something new everyday, if that's true...

I liked the tri-color badge on my 4th gens. I think the new grille is definitely ripe for the Chevy bowtie, and GM did right there. But it would have been cool in the center of the steering wheel as a "heritage" item. Or maybe on the passenger side dash somewhere
