My sister has an LS and a few days ago one tailght went out and a turn signal went out yesterday. The parts stores all say its a dealer only bulb, my guess would be they probably have the bulb but no listing in their computers yet.

Anyone have else had to replace their bulbs and if so they remember what bulb it was ? I would like to get one today and put it in, and not have to wait and goto the dealer on monday and have her pay 12$ each or something crazy for a bulb.

 

Very coincidental, I made and released a little how-to video regarding taillights yesterday. I didn't note the bulb number (now that I think about it, I wish I had) but the vid will show you you to easily find out using a flat blade screwdriver.

Thanks for the info, if I get the # I will post it for future reference.. She ended up going to the dealer for the bulb and when they checked everything was working but the car was stilling saying a bulb was out or something like that. The signals were also working normal again and not flashing double fast. They couldnt fix whatever it was doing so they made her an appointment for this week to try figure it out.

 

Useless reply I know, But I've seen several 5th gens around here with a bulb out here and there too. Some with a foglight out, some with headlight out, signals, tails.... Crazy how the cheapest bidder wins.... Its not only these though, I see several new and newish cars with lights out.

 

Bulb # 3457NALL for front turn signal... Carquest carries them... LL means Long Life, but you can use just a 3457NA...

Tail light bulb is a 3157LL...

Dont know what store you went too...
