Snap,crackle,pop HELP

I just bought my car Saturday and have been enjoying the hell of of it but today there was some LOUD crackeling sounds from the stereo. I was using my iPhone 4 threw the USB and pandora At the time of the sounds. I switched to the iPod and the same thing happend. I pulled over turned off the engine started up the car agin, turned the radio back on and the sounds where gone!

2012 SS <300 miles on it
Boston acoustic sound system

I know I can just take it and let them look at its just I hate the idea of setting up an appointment and then waiting on them to find the problem. Can anyone give me some piece of mind

Re: Snap,crackle,pop HELP

Is this the only time it happened? Or has it happened again since?

Re: Snap,crackle,pop HELP

It happend one more time today while I was on my way home from work but it wasn't as intense, loud, and as often. I unplugged my iPhone 4 then plugged it back I'm while driving. The stereo found the iPhone as normal and the crackeling sounds went away. The speakers sound perfect other wise. I'm starting to think its an electrical problem or a setting I'm unaware of.
