The green dash and door inserts on our Synergy Green 2lt RS are really nice,AND THE DOOR INSERTS LIGHT UP AT NIGHT! Is there a way to light the dash inserts? Also is there a way to convert the Halos to be the running lights? Thanks

 

There's a number of projects out there, and I may be attempting once the car is out of storage. Some folks are using EL wiring, and others are using digikeys, though the correct part is no longer available.

 

there is a way... it is a PROJECT for sure... there is a lot of info in the web... from what I gather is about 800 dollars in parts give or take? don't quote me but i really wanted to do it... but... gonna wait on it.

 

I just don't want to void my electrical warranty the way I found was to get some rigid 3/16th aquarium tubing, get some red EL wiring, attach that to the back of the orange dash panel inserts, sand the paint on the insert back just a little, and as evenly as possible. Get the inverter, wire it up to the purple wire for abl going into the door, and you're golden. The el wire is cheap but the colored inserts are $40 and $80 respectively if you screw up.
