Colors matter for some probably most people, but i'm all about the lack of color, black! Nothing is sexier in my opinion than a freshly washed black car, yum.

I can agree 'freshly washed' black looks fantastic.

But 'freshly washed' only lasts 10 minutes. LOL Then it's dirty again.

Gimme White or Silver that stay clean much longer.

yeah but as long as you have a good coat of wax on it you can just use a california car duster and clean it up nice. black isnt too bad to clean. i detail cars and majority that i do are black or darker colors. ive become a perfectionist on black and my own vehicles.

I think they should really have large color selection . I thought the colors for the Camaro have been way to bland with a few big stand outs in between . The problem with all these colors though is dealers wont order them and not many people custom order cars anymore . So alot of the cooler , colors that arent "mainstream" will appear to be unpopular when they actually probably wouldnt be if dealers just ordered them for people to buy . It soooooo hard to get a good idea of what a more different color looks on those worthless color chips without seeing it in person. Our local dealers would only for stock black , blue , silver and red throughout the 4th gens life .

Heres the color list I think would be sweet . There likely wont be any Camaro only colors , so my picks are of current 08 GM colors which Im sure will expand .

-2008 Solstice Brazen Orange -looks identical to the Camaro vert concept
-Machine Silver
-Black
-Bright white ...NOT IVORY white
-Victory Red
-Red jewel tintcoat or Sport Red tintcoat
-Jetsteam Blue
-2008 Commodore K-pow metallic ....it looks like GTO Impulse blue and is awesome
-A GOOD Gold tintcoat .....like on the 08 Daytona Z06 .
-A Pale Yellow like on the 1st gens . I dont think a shade like Competition or Millenium would look good ont he 5th gen .
-Holden Morpheous metallic ....maybe the best purple Ive seen on a OEM .
-A throwback Moss green metallic type color

Im sure the colors wont be that vast , but one can only hope

Purple is my favorite color actually. But Morpeous is too light for me. I like a very dark purple. Check out any 91/92 Camaro (or most any Chevy from those years) for what is, imo, the best purple on a vehicle ever.

Anything but that hunter Green!....

Seriously, why not take the best colors from each generation, up date them with modern; base coats, pearl, techniques....whatever they do....for the first year, and go from there.

I wish there were more colors. Why are there 10 colors for the trucks, but 8 for the Corvette and Camaro????

I also agree with the electron blue! That would look perfect!

If not, I vote for red with black stripes

Myself and a good friend are planning buying orange. Our plan is to order them together to try and get the numbers close together. We both want Orange, for the heritage of the Z and also for UT Vols. My GTO is lonely and that would be a perfect ride to park next to it. I love the look of these things. I can't wait...
