Showing off my new Z06 rims :D

Just kinda proud because in 6 yrs I've owned the car this the the first real appearance mod if you don't could the brakes (which are for better braking, the red calipers were just a bonus!).

http://www.mtfba.org/forum/viewthread.php?tid=8063

I'm very happy with the look overall. Those are 17x9.5s all the way around with 275/40-17 BFG Gforce KDWS in the front and 275/40-17 Nittos in the back.

Still the stock 1LE springs in there too, and I actually like the rake. I wouldn't lower it a bit!

Looks good. I think Z06's were made for 4th gen fbodies. They look so damn good. Do you know if 1LE springs lower a car any. Your's looks a little lower than a stock LT1 car.

Those are "argent silver" Z06 replicas I bought on Ebay from OE Wheel Concepts.

As for the springs, I think the 1LE lowers the front end just slightly. My front ride height is the same as a buddy of mine that had a 2000 SS with the Bilstein Level 2 suspension.

That looks really sweet man . Now THAT looks soooooooo much better than alot of the 18" Z06 wheels I see sitting inside the fender wells with absolutely no sidewall on the tire .

Great choice and gorgeous TA

Re: Showing off my new Z06 rims :D

haha, thanks. but with 18's thats the least amount of sidewall availible, so other cars youve seen have the same, if not MORE(40 series)

Re: Showing off my new Z06 rims :D

I think what Im talkin bout , its more of a matter of the tire being to narrow for the width of rim , giving the sidewall an inward slope which projects a rubber band looking sidewall and a rim that looks like its sitting 3 feet inside the fender well .

....anyways , back to chris's car .
