custom box for '97
anyone have any tips or websites that can help me build a custom enclosure for my '97 camaro.

I'll sell you mine... links in the signature...
For building one yourself, just look around and use your imagination for building materials. I'm not aware of any sites out there for instructions for really building a box. sorry

Why not just have someone build one for you.Not as expensive as you may think.Lets see someone who builds boxes for fbodies,hmmm,hmmmmm(thinking,thinking)  Just joking.  Try www.subthump.com or you can contact megabass on this website.
