Are the tires 315/40-17 or 315/35-17? Typical aftermarket tire on the 4th Gens is a 315/35. I'm not aware of any street tires in 315/40. Are they a competition tire?

In any case, I doubt that there were any stock wheels on a 3rd Gen Camaro that were wider than 8". You can't put a 315 tire on an 8" wide wheel. Typically you need at least a 10" wide wheel for a 315/35-17.

I think he meant will the wheels and tires fit ( same bolt pattern, wheel to fender clearances) that sort of thing. Not trying to discredit your post. However it is 1 am so i may be mistaken.

If you are talking about swapping wheels and everything. You can if you get spacers for your third gen. 3rd and $th gen use a much different backspacing.
