WTB 98-02 F-body brakes

Spindles, calipers, brake lines, hell I'll take the rotors too, need to convert an LT1 car to a better brake system.

I got a almost complete set of C5 brakes for the front and rear. all you'd need are the adapter plates (to make your knuckles work) and the slide bracket. got calipers, rotors, hoses, and pads.

you can take it all for $100. I just want it gone. i'll never use it now. selling my car.

Hrm... That could work! I can send the ones I get from you out to get powder coated, and then take the stock brakes off of my car and use those!

I got the slide brackets too, you need the "abutment brackets" from a vette, and the adapter brackets. what kind of rims you got? SS or z06 type rims would be needed to clear these. or anyother 17" or larger rims that have the needed clearance.

Powder coated? Just buy some caliper paint $8. It will last longer than you own the car.

I might have a set for you after I upgrade my brakes, but it might be a while. I will let you know, my CCW rims still haven't come in

Good call... these might not clear the wheels on the vehicle, they are 17's but I don't know about the offset. I had this problem with a buddy's car, he had some nice TTII's and we put C5 brakes on, and they didn't fit. I got a sweet deal on some new TTII's though!

This sounds like a better idea. How about you take the C5 brakes, and sell me your LS1 brakes? I have some LT1 spindles you could use for the C5 conversion, theyre already off the car so you wouldn't have any downtime. Then I could use your spindles and everything else?

think there around $180 for the adapters to make them work, but not sure how much the abutment brackets are. you might be able to use the LS1 abutment brackets for all I know.
