I believe stock LT1's have 48mm tb's and 52mm intakes??? Correct me if im wrong. so assuming what 69z said and im pretty sure that the Tb's are interchangable

 

He is asking about the nitrous plate.

Nitro dave would be a good one to ask.......it will work as far as fit...you need to find out if anything LT1 related will interfere as in the tubing/breather stuff on the pass. side where the lines are

no he does not. The plate is bigger then the TB so its no problem......only would be a problem if it was smaller and I think most are 58mm plates only 52 I have seen was a nitrous works. The 48mm will work fine on either

they should be interchangeable....the NOS TPI plate works on a LT1...and our LT1 plate will work on a TPI

 

yep nitrous works is a 52 mm plate, i bought my kit used and it came already ported to run a 58 mm, stock LT1 size is 52mm tho right?

 

well, can you guys tell me what else i'll need with this setup:

o Fuel pressure safety switch
o Aircraft style toggle switch

Just looking at your kit, the main thing i dont see maybe im blind is a wide open throttle switch, a switch that will only allow your n2o to kick in under full throttle,
Another good idea would be a window switch to control at what rpms the nitrous kicks on.
Just to have a functional setup all you would really need is thw WOT switch, but theres plenty of other things that could be had with your setup, nitrousoutlet.com look under accessories.

 

well, im planning on doing it with a push-button switch, but the windowswitch will still come later. I just refuse to spray through first gear, i dont get traction the way it is lol.

 

You also need the Cable Relocation bracket (might be in the package with the plate) this moves your TB Cables forward the distance of the thickness of the plate.

On my old setup, it is a flat plate with 6 holes, 3 to mount the bracket to the plenum and 3 threaded holes to mount the TB cable bracket.
