slp spring free length?

I bought a set of front springs of a member on this site and he said that they were slp lowering springs. WELL I went to change them and once i took off the stock springs and set them next to the ones he sold me the new ones where" 2 INCHES" taller than the stock ones Does anyone have advice on whether these will lower the car or did he take me?????

***Just to note that they are the same diamater as stock, have 10 coils insted of 9 like stock, and they are dark blue, but they have no writing on them, which I've seen in pictures of SLP springs.

Hard to say, but the compressed height is what you are after. Uncompressed height may not be all that meaninful (though my rear Hotchkis springs were slightly shorter than stock and had more coils). Height may vary by spring design.
