Eagle Talon turned BALD

Funny Story...

I think it was the second day i had my camaro, its a 94 LT1 with cold air, and a flowmaster muffler, A4 with what i think to be 2.73 gears but the car moves VERY well (timed 0-60 in 6 flat multiple runs)

Anyways i was crusing to the local cafe with my buddy when this little girl in her Eagle Talon with racing stickers and a big fat exhaust comes next to me, changes lanes and decked it, i get pissed, car drops to 3rd and just TAKES off, i passed her doing 120 mph, good thing my friend let me know because i wouldnt of stopped

damn ricers...

(my old man had the car out this morning, and an SS approched him, he dogged the race...what a fool... haha)

Lots of 1st gen DSM cars around here have the usual tweaks done to them. I'd say more of them are running 12s than are stock nowadays. Good kill, but watch out for the next one...

Girl + Talon usually = the 1.8 liter, 90hp version. If it was a 95-97, it could have been as much as 140hp.

Somehow I missed the demise of the 1st gen DSMs. They went from plentiful to almost gone overnight. The autotrader is almost bare of listings, and those that are for sale are usually riced beyond repair or are the "1.8 liter beater." Oh well - I have 2 money pits already.

I think that's probably why the only ones left are the modified ones, at least around here. Once they get to be 10-12 years old, the ol' something wrong every month starts to really be tiresome for a beater.
