Way to go Joe, welcome to the doh...club. I had planned on being at cecil today but I can't stand the cold. I'll try MIR tomorrow, should be a little warmer. Hopefully you'll get that 9 sec slip your next time out. Good luck.

removed anything not necessary other than appearance..meaning i still have factory carpeting all interior panels, headliner etc. less radio heater airbags and so on.I still have power windows and all working interior switch functions..keyed ignition, working headlights /dimmer , turn signals etc. save for kirkey seats.....along with full cage it really doesn't appear to be light..but thats the point right actually it could be lighter.Theres alot of options out there now body parts, glass etc. that can be utilized .But scanning through alot of event rules I don't see alot of that being allowed..I know here locally in real street classes no fiberglass other than factory or hood is allowed.and also must have oem glass in alot of the classes that i regularly try to attend.. So its pretty much how far your willing to go when comtemplating weight reduction..
