AI 200cc H/C dyno #'s & video

Ok guys here it is, the moment of truth.
If any one is not familiar with this projuct, please click on the link to the other post so you can get some back ground.
Quickly though it is a 355 with a street SR, AI 200 cc CNC lt-1 heads and Ai's street/strip LT-1 intake.

I prommised to show my results from this build up good or bad and I don't think anyone will be "disapointed."

Here is a video of the pull. Crank it up if you have decent speakers, it sounds wild!

I want to thank Jeff at CAM. His base mail order program did well considering it was conservative enough to ensure it was safe. With his base program it already beat my goals LOL. Jeff was heading out of town, but I got him on the phone before he left and he gave me some pointers on tuning, and told me there was plenty of room to try minor changes with lt1edit. I gave it a little timing and it picked up a little, adding some fuel helped, but I have a big lean area in the low-end that is affecting the torque curve. I am sure it'll gain there. I have limited tuning experiance so after a few sugjested changes I decided to leave it alone. I have to say that this thing is crazy. I can't wait until jeff is back to dial it in. It drives so nice, I cant believe it. I wasnt sure what I had gotten myself into when I heard it run the first time. It's all good now though. I still have all of the original equipmet & accessories: power steering, AC, Power windows, etc... I wanted a sweet street car, and thanks to the guys at AI, I finaly have what I want.

If anyone in my area wants to check it out, let me know & we can meet up and cruise around.

the little 355 is making some serious power.

Should run hard at the track for you with 4.56's and a 7000 shift RPM.

480 SAE is some good numbers, nice job!

Not bad for a 240° SR at .050"! (My guess is mid 240's)

After looking at those graphs, I don't think my hydrolic cam setup will last through next year.

Those are fantastic numbers! A couple of dyno tricks or mods could easily put you at 500rwhp.

Nice numbers indeed..

What kind of maintance is involved in having a SR camshaft in a DD/weekend warrior Compared to a hydralic camshaft?

How often do you need to check & Adj Rockers?

480rwhp? **** me.....

Bret, can ya make me a solid roller that will make those #'s with Lloyd's heads... ffs....

I'll take it to CAM to get tuned LOL

My car is quick but I'll be damned if it's 160 rwhp quicker than my cam only setup.

Does that say 385 rwtq at 3500 RPM? Daaayyyuuuummm! And almost 419 peak torque? Thats as much, if not more, than most 383 cubed motors make! Thats not a huge cam if it makes that much down low I wouldnt think.

My mind is made up on who i'm gonna go with to do my heads!
