abs/asr inop troubleshooting

does anyone know what the voltages should be either at the wheel sensors or on the abs system. i am trying to trouble shoot my abs/asr light. The brake light was on but it was just a bulb. i think its a wiring problem i am just trying to track it down. it used to work and it would go off and on itermittently but now its just on. I didnt care before but after a close call from my tires breaking loose i think i would like to have it working again. My next step is to find a shop that has a computer to test the abs/asr system. Im basically just trying to do a quick trouble shooting of everything before i pay someone to scan it. i see two sets of wires on the abs system, is one plug for the front and one for the rear or is one powering it and the other running all the sensors. A wiring schematic would be extremely helpful. i see alot of other people with the same issue and it might be helpful to more than just me if i could get a troubleshooting thread started.

Re: abs/asr inop troubleshooting

Find a shop that can read the ABS code; that will narrow down what is out of wack.
