Anybody ever get their interior re-done?

My 98 Z28 just turned over 100,000 miles and the driver's seat has torn leather plus the cushioning is worn down. Anyone here ever get new leather on the seats and is the cushioning able to be "fluffed" back up or is the seat screwed?

Youd probably end up spending more money to take it to a place that does that stuff and getting slapped with a nice bill then you would just buying some nice condition seats on ebay

Find a car in a salvage yard with seats just like yours. Taks the cussion and cover off the passenger seat on the junked car and install them on the drivers seat of your car.

This works well because passenger seats are usually in pretty good shape. Taking the leather and padding from a good passenger seat gets the job done.

I have had 1 leather seat and 2 cloth seats repaired. The leather one cost me $137.00 and looked like new. The cloth ones were $75.00 each. Lots cheaper than new seats...

Its not too terribly expensive to have that kind of work done. Just call up some upholstery shops and get some quotes. I was quoted around 150 bucks to have a small tear in the seam and the cushioning redone on my drivers side leather seat.

Only problem is the hole is fairly big and not in the seam.
