What wheels fit?

I have been trying to find some trans am wheels for my 94 formula. I dont need fancy rims just some descent looking ones. I bought a set of 5-spoke firebird rims that came off a v6 so the center wasnt big enough so they did not fit correctly. What year would I need to find for them to be able to fit my car...all I need is some chrome trans am wheels?..or does anybody have any for sell?

Re: What wheels fit?

All 4th Gen wheels are interchangeable. The only minor difference is that the 97 and newer wheels will not fit over the rear hubs of the 96 and older cars. The fix is simple.... lightly sand or grind the inner diameter of the hub hole in the wheel until it fits over the hub on your 94. It will not damage the wheels, or cause any other problems.

There is a post in the FAQ "stickied" at the top of the "Wheels and Tires" topic page that covers this problem.

Re: What wheels fit?

You can use the ones you have. All you need to do is file out the center so it will fit. A half round file and 5-10 minutes a wheel and you should be good to go.
