All the most current and up to date info is usually first in this very forum.

What big news?

It's going to be powered by only Ecotec variants. For the V8, they are going to weld two I4's together at 90*.

Re: so how was it? any new news

I think the original poster is referring to "news" or a "surprise" that was supposed to happen at the Dallas show - If it did, I missed it. Very fun evening, car looks GREAT in person, but no news, announcements, or surprises (other than the pleasant surprises that Scott picked up our tab to get into the show, we got Camaro posters, and a ticket to get back into the auto show on a regular day) - nothing new or surprising directly related to the car itself.

I think any announcements we are looking for are being held up by the Delphi issue...

At least thats what I heard

This is more than likely correct.

(For those who were questioning me due to my earlier post, sometimes I ask questions that I already know the answers to, just to see what the latest buzz is.)

You are new, aren't you?!

Delphi declared bankruptcy, is pissing off it's unions, and is relying on GM to clean up the mess.

GM is brokering an agreement between Delphi and the UAW, and this is pretty much taking the CEO's full attention right now.

If Delphi's union strikes, General Motors shuts down, costing them over a billion per week.

Go to the "Future Vehicles" section and read the related threads on this.

That's your assignment!

Do it now.
