Re: New GTS dyno numbers

That is pretty much what the Viper has been dynoing since 2003 anyway, so no shock there.

Re: New GTS dyno numbers

I just read a thread this morning where a new Z06 bone stock did 453, they even posted the dyno graph, but I can't remember which site it was on.

Anyway ya look at it though , the dodge boys will need to do a bit more than just match the output of the Z06 . Its got that lil weight diff to make up too Not knockin the Viper by any means ...its still an amazing car , but the Z06 is gonna be putting the new GTS on the trailer too .

They probably meant area under the curve. The torque peak on the Vipers dyno sheet is 1 lb-ft higher than the Z06's is rated at the crank. I wouldnt be suprised at all if the powercurve of Dodge's V10 was broader.

I am sure with only a 5hp difference in the rating of the two engines, there will be a few z06 engines that dyno higher than Viper engines due to variances in the engines.

I would be suprised if the Viper's torque curve wasn't significantly broader than the z06s.
