its a black box, it has a 16 pin connector, it has a part number on it.
PN 16192760
It has a circuit board in it and its not part of the SIR system as the wiring was not covered in yellow.
I have searched my parts catalog and came up with nothing.

Any help identifying this box would be greatly appreciated.
I am in the process of deleting the HVAC and airbags and need to know if this box stays or goes.

nope. niether one of those looks right.
it was attached to the inside of the dash and is now in the passenger floor.
Its got a green (teal green maybe connector coming out one side) it is rectangular and has tabs on all four corners to fasten it to whatever it was fastened too......I forget now. It was on the backside of the dash I know that much.

 

I'm stumped.

if you got a pick that might help others.
