Question Rear Tubbed Fenders Anyone?

I need to Tub my rear wheel wells/fenders. I just bought eibach drag launch srpings... and i have 17x11 inch rims with a 315-35-17 tire. Its going to rub like no other on the tires... it already does a little bit on the passanger rear and i have the stock srpings in which are harder than the eibachs!

does anyone know if this is possible? and how much it'll cost?... will it look good?

any info. is apreciated!

thanks!

You want to tub it and only stick normal 315/35/17 tires under there??? That's a heck of an expense just for tires that "small".

It can be done but if you are going to do it, do it like my bud John did...

Re: Rear Tubbed Fenders Anyone?

I run Eibach Drag Launch springs in the back, and my street wheels are the 17x11 50mm ZR1 replicas, with 315/35-17 BFG Drag Radials on them. I few taps of the hammer in the inner fender liners and a grinder on the corner of the jounce bumper bracket, and all was well. And my track tires are ET Drag 28x10.5-15W, and all they took was a few more whacks of the ol' 3# hammer.

The Drag Launch springs jack the back end up, increasing clearance.
