How to install MOMO steerign wheel (air bad in stock wheel)

I wasnt really looking for a new wheel but I came across a mint shaped MOMO millenium wheel for dirt cheap. Ive changed one in my 89 GTA and that was easy coz it didnt have an air bag. But what should I know/expect with this air bag ****. I know its not legal, blah blah blah....not too worried.

thanks for any help

I know its kinda late but anyways.... You will need to use the same hub as the 3rd gen. As for the air bag, you just have to remove the coil that sits under the wheel. Also you will probably have to grind the inside of the steering column, mine rubbed up against the Momo hub. Oh yeah, you will also have to wire the horn. It's no some thing that just plugs in, but its very easy. I believe thats all I needed to do.

is the safety of an air bag really worth a cool steering wheel? lol

I also had to "clearance" the inside of the steering column where it was rubbing on the hub. Easy to do, its plastic.
Actually if I'm not mistaken it is legal to remove the airbag. Your insurance company may have issues with your decision, though...
And yes, it's worth it.

air bags are ****. My steering wheel is ugly and feels thin and rubbery. I got this wheel brand new for next to nothing. yes its worth it. I dont drive the car too often anymore so HOPEFULLY i wont be crashing it.

My insurance company doesnt look at anything on any of my cars. They dont ask questions and we have quite a relationship. My dad has been with them for like 30 years so they dont give a ****.

I meant more along the lines of "Your medical bills from injuries sustained in the accident are not covered because you tampered with the car's safety equipment. Have a nice day."
