performance rotors for ls1

I was thinking on swopping my factory rotors for some cross drilled or slotted ones. What i had in mind is putting some brembo cross drilled rotors. what do you guys think? if you have suggestions on rotors that are better or where i can get them for a cheap price let me know. thanks guys

Get the slotted/drilled only if you're interested in their looks. They will not improve braking performance at all. If anything they may hurt brake performance.

Your not gonig to see increased braking from slottd or cross drilled rotors. As you are actually decreasing the swept area your braking should actually go down. The benifit comes under repeated hard braking when the brakes get real hot. The slotted or crossdrilled rotors will cool faster and provide increased braking in that instance.

Personally I would stay away from all but the highest quality drilled rotors. Almost every one I've ever seen eventually gets cracks around the holes. I use Power Slot rotors and they look great and didn't cost too much.

i did them the same time i did my ls1 swap so yes i felt better braking. but i have no idea if it had anyanything to do with the rotors.
