I bought a fram one from walmart, and it works great. I noticed a little better acceleration and just a little more mpg. But I think the previos owner never had the thing changed, and I bought it with 125,***.

I've never heard any negative things about any brand fuel filter out there. I always use fram (from walmart / kargen), deutch (from autozone). I try to change it every 12-15,000 miles.

I used a Fram when I did mine a few months ago. I got it at Wal Mart and it was pretty cheap.

I'm glad you decided to change it after that many miles, dang man, did the guy not know what a normal tune up was ? I'm sure you did notice a little better performance after that lol.

Mine hit 100k a few weeks ago. Seems like the guy that had it before me said he changed it, but I can't remember now. Even if he did, it's been about 35k since then anyway so I reckon it's time anyway. Mine's running good (knock on wood!) but I figure it's time.
