Asking Price

Well, After having my F-Body for two plus years I must say it was the best experience of my life. Now im in Daytona Beach, Florida at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I dont want it sitting at home for my Dad to drive 4 times a month and I dont have 900+ dollars to ship it to Florida. I live in San Francisco so it would be a bitch to drive it to Daytona. Because of these circumstances I am thinking HEAVILY about selling it. With the money hopefully i can buy another Camaro or if not, maybe a Silverado or Tahoe. Well to my question - How much do you think I should ask for the '01 Camaro Z28 with these Modifications:

SLP Flow Pack
DMH Electric Cutout
New 18x9.5 Z06 Wheels w/ Pirelli PZero Nero Tires 275/35 - About 1000 Miles on them
160 Thermostat
Fan Modification
Bel 980 Radar Detector
800 Watt Amp for Speakers w/ 450 Watt Sub Amp - No Sub
Pioneer DEH-840MP Deck
Aftermarket Pioneer Speakers For Fronts and Mids
34500 Miles on the LS1 Engine
Oh Yeah almost forgot to add, i have been in an accident - I was hit in the rear - body damage only

Any Guesstimate/Estimate would be very helpful and useful to me I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks,
Eric

Exclamation Re: Asking Price

The way I read this post is that you really want to get rid of the car and are just looking for a good excuse to do so.

Not paying $900 to ship the car is understandable, but I really don't understand why it would be such a bitch to drive from CA to FL.

Hell! If you don't want to do it, I can do that for you, if you want. Seriously.

Re: Asking Price

Mayeb I will drive it, I bet ill be under 500 bucks to drive with gas and motel expenses hopefully i can get someone to come with me too. And americanmuscile are you serious about 15000 being the most you would pay for my F-Body? Can you explain you reasoning for that price.

Re: Asking Price

Why should it cost more then 15k? Especially with body damage.

Re: Asking Price

fbodys are great cars, theyre all ive ever owned. mainly because theyre inexspensive...and since theyre so inexspesive for me to buy used, you could only imagine that they get sold for fairly cheap as well. i mean, if its a 01, and you bought it new, and have been making payments regularly, then 15k isnt a bad price at all...
