new times for Jason Warren

Went to the (1/8) track wed. night and Jason got a 6.21@108.97 and a 6.22@108.8. The car pulled a 1.34 60 foot both times.

Based on the 1/4 calculators Ive used, it translates to a mid 9.6.

He was very pleased, especially since he was only spraying 150....

We hope to get the car to Bowling Green soon...

Sweetness, glad to see that you guys figured out the suspension stuff.

Did you simply adjust the torque arm. or was there more to it?

Yellow-thanks. I know that he was kind of thinking the car will go slower than the calculator because of the weight, I was talking to him and he said a mid 9.7 is what he thinks it will do. he is hoping to get deep into the 9's, shouldnt be a problem since weve got 150 more hp of nitrous to throw to it.

Nick- he installed travel limiters, BMR anti roll bar, turned the front shocks up to setting #7, adjusted the torque arm all the way down to the bottom hole and ran half the nitrous. This is the best 60 foot the car has made to date.

Madman-
Thanks. I know he is just about fed up with working on the car for now, he is kind of concerned with running the dog **** out of it too much fearing crankwalk. Im sure the car will come out a few more times this year, make some 1/4 passes. Im almost definite he wont be taking it down to LA. He just wants to keep it together for awhile..

Guido- Thanks. How is the car coming along for you?

Ive got gold headers now! LOL

We started the car last night for the first time. It is QUIET! It has NO MUFFLER on it at all right now, and it is quieter than it was last year with a full exhaust on it.

Anyway, there are a few issues that need cleared up. A couple of water leaks. Taking the headers back off today when I get home from work and retorquing the heads and fixing the leaks.

Hope by this time next week, we will be getting ready to put the car on the trailer and take it to Bloomington and do some tuning on a chassis dyno.

Good luck with your car and Jason's. You should really talk him into going to LA. going to be some fun heads up racing!
