Post idle problem after warmup, and...

I'm taking my car on vacation this sunday, and need to figure out what to change. Here's whats happening.

After I would come to a stop, at a redlight, the idle would dip down to 500 rpm and act like the car was gonna die. Then it would bump back up to 1200 or so (I have idle set to 950), and hold there till I took off. My friend took a look at my IAC tables, and changed some stuff, and now it doesn't do that, which is awesome. But, now it never drops below 1200 when I come to a stop. The values for the IAC table are...
top row=temp bottom row=steps
-40 -28 -16 -4 8 20 32 44 56 68 80 92 104 116
115 106 81 69 62 55 49 39 35 35 35 35 35 35

In the throttle follower IAC steps vs. mph table, the 0mph cell is set to 7.

I tried changing the last 5 cells in the IAC table to 30, and that dropped the rpm to around 1000-1100. Then I tried 28 and it went back to trying to die when I come to a stop. The car has cc306 cam, ported stock heads, and all the bolt ons. Anyone know what numbers I should try plugging in?

Thanks,
Zack
