An M5 rolled on me today...

I'm cruising home when a black M5 strolls up beside me wanting to run. I get on it a little to get around some cars so we can line them up. Well when I was going around the cars the dumb azz in the M5 thinks I'm stomping on it and takes off. I shoot up to around 100 mph and he keeps in it and got off the highway. What a ricer with money. OOOOOO !!!! I'm so mad. He will go tell everyone on some BMW site how he smoked a Z28 today. What would have happened if he had of raced me fairly. I have no idea what the hp on those cars is.

If your stock or lightly modded, he would have walked you regardless. Not by a whole lot, but those things sport a 5.0L at 390hp, and run very strong from higher speed rolls. Very nice cars.

sounds similar to Sergios story about his race with the WRX but roles reversed. Yeah he'll probly go tell everyone how he "killed" another F-Body granted those should pull stock or mild LS1's it would still have been a close race or who knows, maybe he coulda missed a shift or two.

Yeah, M5 cars pack quite a punch for a stock car. If you're LT1 is stock or near stock, you're not gonna beat him.

Driven right, an M5 ought to outrun a near stock LT1. Nonetheless, anything can happen. He forgets to downshift or something and you might win.
