those who run aftermarket Headunits with stock bose speakers

I want to pick up a ALpine CDA9815.
I like my 5 bose speakers/subs

If i buy the Alpine and use the necessary adapter to match the 2ohm impedance will the system sound at least as good as it did with the stock Head unit?

I mainly want the CDA9815 for looks, MP3 play, and XM radio.

If for some reason it will sound worse because of the adapter let me know and i wont spend my money buying an after market head unit.

apparently not, just got my 95 Z28 and it has an older pioneer aftermarket deck in it with factory speakers. and it sounds just as good as my 96 did that was all stock. of course i couldnt tell you what kind of adapter you need cause it was in the car when I bought it and havent taken the dash apart yet.....

but there is nothing wrong with the sound quality at all
