How to adjust LCA's for the track?
I just installed Spohn adjustable LCA's and panhard bar. How should I adjust these to best help 1/4 mile times? Lengthen? Shorten?
Thanks,
Aaron

You may want to post in the drag racing section, but I've never heard of shortening or lengthening LCA's for drag racing purposes. Dropping them lower on LCA brackets, yes.

Yeah it didn't make much sense to me either but I figured they are adjustable so maybe it would make a difference. I guess it must just be mainly to keep the suspension in geometry.

I think by moving them back farther (increasing their length), you can get a more negative pinion angle on the torque arm preloading it more. That could be good for drag racing, but this is just a guess.

That's actually incorrect. The pinion angle is set between the torque arm and the rear end - the LCA's can't control it. Lengthening the LCA's would move your axle toward the rear...

Adjustable LCA's are mostly used to center a larger tire in the wheel well namely drag slicks.
