If you Race at Pacific Raceways in Washington state READ THIS

If you are interested in keeping our racing facility for the Seattle area, and you can make it to this hearing, please plan on being there!

On Wednesday, October 22, 2003 there will be an annual public meeting to discuss current and future operations at Pacific Raceways. The meeting will take place at the Department of Development and Environmental Services in the Hearing Room (1st floor) at 900 Oakesdale Ave. SW in Renton at 1:15PM. We received a letter from Pacific Raceways encouraging those who are interested in the future of racing, in the Pacific NW and the King County area, to attend in support for the raceway and the racing community.

It is funny people complain about street racing and everything else affiliated with fast cars yet they want to remove the limited venues people have to enjoy this hobby, if Mission was to shut down, where would we race??? We need another track as it, I hope they don't make a stupid mistake of closing Pacific Raceways.

well there is another track here in Western washington & thats in Bremerton but its not really NHRA ran. So we will also lose the NHRA Nationals. Not only that the Soveron races that happen there every year( road course).

I am ok with closing the Dirt bike set up but Damn that track has been there for 60 years now & still in use.

They talking about closing down Spanaway speedway too & making that housing. But that is a circle track so who cares lol.
