Thumbs up Raced a Roush today

Well, lets just say it must not have been a stage III.


Anywho, It basically started on my way to work today. I usually pass sevarl f-bodys, vettes, stangs etc. on my daily commute (70 miles one way). I'm running a little late as I just got done moving some crap out of my house when I see a stang quickly approaching directly behind me. Now, keep in mind due to me running late I'm cruising at 90mph. At first I detect the gt foglights. Upon further inspection, and the closer he got, I noticed the bad-ass front fascia commonly found on 99+ roush's. It's a vert too. Out of courtisy I get out of the passing lane and accidentially downshift into fourth. While he is starting to pass me I notice the lovely sidepipe, 18" rims, huge brakes etc. Well, seeing as those sidepipes are so damn close on his car, I immediatley detected a subtle stab of acceleration. Following suit I roll into the acceleration a bit (still in 4th) when I heard him go w.o.t. Well, starting around 80-85mph (I slowed down a wee bit before I got over) to around 110-115mph I walked him. At one point in time I let off because I thought he did as well, but he gained a bit back so I got back on it again.

After all's said and done, I think he got pissed. I gave the thumbs up as I was walking him, but his windows were a bit to dark to see any activity. He then proceedes to swerve in and out of traffic eradically trying to evade me. I must admit I tried to keep up, but my courtious side of me took over and I halted the process. A few minutes later I cought back up to him, but he just started weaving in and out of traffic again to get away.
