I had tpis burn a chip for me three years ago. and every year i change something and up grade a possible problematic component.
Basically what happens is that when your light on the gas at low rpms it cuts out (2200 and 1/4 throttle). tpis put this on their lap top and @ a certain rpm it shuts off voltage, fuel, spark everything it's like the car just turns off then back on. On full throttle the car goes like a raped ape!
but this drivabilty thing is annoying epecially when driving with girls in the car.
Any help would be great, thanks guys

YOU I GOT THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AND IM GETTING CODES 22,32,AND 33, SO IF YOU FIGURE IT OUT THEN COULD YOU LET ME KNOW?I GOT THE STOCK CHIP WITH ALL MY MODS.I THINK THATS MY PROB BUT WHO KNOWS?

could be lots of things. you can try unplugging the MAF and see if it goes away. if it does, then you ned a new MAF sensor. it reads how much air the eng. is seeing, so if its wrong, it throws everything off. other then that, maybe dirty fuel inj.s? bad Throttle Position sensor. cant think of anything else. Id put a scan tool on it and see if any of the sensors are wacked out when it happens. good luck ---

I had a very similar problem when I put in my chip. After 10min of running great the car would try to stall when I was stopped and had brutal if any throttle response when Id take off. Once I got going she screamed. Put the old chip back in and it runs fine. Im getting the chip reburnt. Maybe you could try that too. Just a thought.

Check your TPS. My Iroc was doing the same exact thing. Then I noticed the the TPS adjustment was all the way to one side. I set it in the middle and it completely went away! So I just knocked on wood and didn't bother to check the voltage.

Here's what i've done since the problem started.
-tpis mini ram
-383
-adjusted tps
-swapped out numerous maf sensors
-replaced intake gaskets #'s of times
-adjust timeing and fuel pressure
-new injectors
-multiple chips from tpis
-fuel system (pump lines and regulator)
-coils
-wires
-plugs
-distributor parts

My throttle response is great, just at 2200 rpm and 1/4 throttle it cuts out like it's in over drive @ 20 mph.

I'm going to have a friend burn me a chip if not i'm going to replace the ecm. It's been 3 years now.

It has to be a dead spot somewhere.

Tried playing with the tps and then moving idle set screw open. That seemed to help. drivability is much better.

I still think i'm going f.a.s.t. next year.
