1997 Camaro Repair Manual
Guys,
Sorry if this is repetitive, did a search and could not find... Where is the best place to get a good condition, used, 1997 repair manual?
Thanks, Ed

I would say ebay. I am guessing you are referring to the factory technical service manual.
Here is a pretty good deal...35 bucks..

I don't know about that one it seams to be a generic manual if you look at some of his feed back.
I might have to break down and just buy the books.

Just buy the books. They aren't great, but certainly easier to go thru than CD-based manuals.

I concur..... I dislike some companies went to CDs for their parts catalog... Seem like it takes forever to find what I am looking for, esp in Adobe format..

x10!!!
I haven't bought *any* manuals on CD for about 5 years, but everything I ever got on CD's was pure crap.
The factory manuals take some getting used to if you're new to 'reading them', but they are for sure the best and most informative.
I have a '97 set of manuals if there's something in particular you need looked up. Good to have the whole manual though, you'll use it endlessly if you keep the car long and work on it yourself.

I agree on all counts. CD-
Factory manuals (there are 2 in the set) are difficult to figure out (organization-wise). I use a set of bookmarks when I am working on something (like when I built the engine). I find myself using them all the time, and they are less bad each time I use them.
