Trip to RCR
Well,the TA and I went to RCR to take my first trip down the strip in 30 some odd years.Out of 5 back to back runs it turned a best ET of 13.9. Best MPH was 100.9. A very good friend of mine pulled a RT of .554 to get the 13.9. Out of 2 runs I made my best RT was.777, MPH 99.8 and a ET of 14.00. I discovered it's hard as heck to powerbrake using hand controls.

Hey, don't worry about it. It's all good. It takes practice on the 1/4...launching is everything. Keep trying and good luck!
Edit: I wouldn't hot lap your car to much...also, when you come down the return road, turn the defrost on heat and on full blast. It will help cool off the car while coming back down to the staging lanes. Again, good luck!

saw you in the pink camaro friday. but i dont remember seeing a t/a. my first time running at the track too. managed a lousy 13.3 w/a 2.2 60 and hit the limiter in 2 gears. grr.. oh well, i guess i should get some good tires soon..

sup loco, were you out friday? you know this is Vents from TRF. i saw a black ss on tq thrust 2's out. but he was doin worse than me. oh well H/C is comin next month..
