Can I get away with having one cat on 96 camaro
I have a 96 z28 Camaro. I know that the stock exhaust comes with 2 catalytic converters. I have been looking around and found that a catted y-pipe is way out of my price range. I was wondering if I could possibly get away with having one cat after the y-pipe where the 2 pipes meet to one. Any thoughts or suggestions on other ways of doing this without emptying my bank? Or if anyone knows of cheaper catted y pipes that don't reduce power as much as well as sound.
