I use to get 20-25mpg Highway and it seemed like 16-19 mpg City.....Just got my car back from a 3 year lease to my dad(sold it to him for the money I needed, got a decent job and paid him what he gave me and now I got her back)

City: 16-17mpg
Highway: 27-28mpg
With bolt ons (CAI, headers, catback, MSD 6A), I'd get 30-32mpg on the highway with stock 3.42 gears. I lost about 2mpg just changing to 3.73s and around 1-2mpg with the cam/heads swap.

Just crunching numbers. Is this right? If so my car is a fuel hog!
275 km to a tank of gas
50 liters cost $57
275/57 = 5.5 5.5 liters to the kilometer?
5.5 kilometers thats 3.4 miles???
I hope Im wrong here somewhere

Why did you divide the number of kM traveled by the cost in $ (57)? Well, actually you didn't do what you typed... you divided kM / liters and got 5.5 kM / liter (not liters / kM)
You drove 275 kM = 171 miles
You bought 50 L of fuel = 13.2 gallons (this assumes your tank was full when you started and was filled to the same level again avter 275 kM).
171 miles / 13.2 gallons = 12.9 miles/gallon

I used to get mid teens city and upper 20's highway. I'm hoping that improves a little due to the headers & exhaust. Should I expect to see an improvement after those mods?

I CONSISTENTLY got 18 city and 27 hwy when i was bone stock and 6 speed. Red93camaro- I was in the exact position you were last year, I had a 140k 3.4l 5 speed. I really wanted to get a Z but was afraid of the gas mileage. then one day last fall i said @#$#$ It ! sold my slow *** dog v6 and bought the car i have now, and while it was stock i hardly noticed a difference in mpg's !!! I was amazed. my city mpg dropped by maybe 2 or 3 but my hwy basically stayed the same. my old v6 ran beautiful and got about 21mpg avg. honestly for how much more fun the Z is you WONT care you'll barely notice. The only regret i have is not selling and going to the Z sooner. do it man you will not regret it in the least.

usually run 17-19 in town 27-30 highway. I drove from Cody, Wy to Billings, MT last trip in my car and ran damn near 30mpg. (190 miles round trip)
Better than any of my previous bolt-on f-bodies...
