rpms grow as i come to a stop
when i am coming to a stop i'll push in the clutch at around 1500 to about 2100 rpm and the rpms will start to go up and hold steady around 2200-2300 rpm when i have no foot on the throttle. if i gently tap the throttle it will come back down to normal. this only happens sometimes but it does it more than it doesn't. i have the codes p0100 = maf, p0400 = egr malfunction, p0336 crank sensor. could these codes cause this condtion? any help would be appriciated.
thank you

Im not sure if the maf code would be causing this.
But you may want to replace your TPS, or the AIC. Have you ever had any pcm work done to the car?
You need to get those other code issues resolved first. It will help the diagnosis of the problem.

Re: rpms grow as i come to a stop
yeah i took off the tb. the top tb plate gasket really looks bad and the one between the intake is also in bad shape. i know i need to change these but haven't had any money, even though they are only about 10-15 dollars. i think that may be the problem, what do you think?

Re: rpms grow as i come to a stop
Did you recently clean your TB? I had my rpms "hang" after cleaning my TB. Lubricate the butterfly rod where it enters the housing (I just dabbed some oil there with a QTip); that cured my rpm hang.

start by replacing the gaskets. They could be causing an intake leak. If that does not cure the problem, remove the IAC, and clean it with carb cleaner. That should take care of it..
