Which oil pan to use with 396 stoker?

What oil pan has a good bang for the buck/ performance and actually fit in my engine bay with SLP headers(single cat)?
it would also be nice to have some windage tray features? Any suggestions

Well there aint many choices. You can either run Canton or Canton... which would you like?

Although I could have swore I saw a Stef's pan for LT's some time ago. Either way, I'm sure Stef's could build one if you're interested.

The Canton has a windage tray, trap doors and a scraper. It's not the best quality in the world but it's about your only choice unless you can fab.

I have the Canton pan on my engine but no SLP headers so I'm afraid I can't help you much there. Surely someone will chime in with more specifics.

You might want to mention what kind of engine you are talking about, and what car it is going into..... that might affect the answer .

The application is a 396 LT1 in a '95 trans Am.
I thought that was clear from my sig but I missed the '95 part.

The milodon 30909 pan is a low profile stroker pan for 86-up SBC, clears 4" stroke crank and eagle style hbeam rods. No low oil level sensor bung but who the hell cares, if youre building a 396 im sure you check your oil regularly anyway. Its not much cheaper than the Canton though, and im not sure if it will fit a stock engine bay 4th gen, am sure it will clear a bmr kmember in a 4th gen though.

I'm running the stock pan on my 396 stroker with eagle 6" rods. I had to put a few small dings in the right place to get clearence, but didn't cost a thing and I keep my "low oil sensor".
