How to cheat emmissions 101! It worked!

I have a question about unhooking the injectors. If you unhook 2 injectors, shouldn't you disconnect those sparkplugs as well? I mean, if there is still spark going to those cylinders, but no fuel, will that not have a bad effect?

Way to go man! Glad it worked out for you guys.
Also wondering if rigging the air pump to stay on would help pass smog.

No. The AIR pump adds the air before the O2 sensors. The sensors would see the extra "air" and start adding extra fuel that the engine doesn't need.
If there is only air in the combustion chamber, and no fuel, there will be no combustion. You might generate a trace of ozone from the high voltage discharge of the plug, but that's not an emissions issue.

But what if you ran a switch in your car, and ran the lines to a tapped thread or something just before the cat... therefore always injecting air into the system after the O2's... what kinda volume of air is released from that air pump?

You would have to disconnect atleast one of your oxygen sensors to run in open loop & then disconnect 2 injectors otherwise the others will be running really rich since the o2's will make the computer compensate, disconnect one o2 & you're running open loop.

We didn't "tape" the hose to the pipe. Like i mentioned before you use a connection piece from an air compressor and tack weld it into the pipe before the cat. Check the post at the beginning of the thread it has a link that will help answer some more questions.

how did you tape a hose inside your exhaust pipe? and where did you put the tank. No body saw or heard the tank pumping out fresh o2. not calling bs but just ?'s [/QUOTE
