Clutches

What would be the best clutch for a 1997 trans am in a LT4 conversion kit
and what kind of flywheel

RAM or SLP clutch unless you have the cash for a spec III or IV

My understanding is that the SLP clutch setup is supposed to be the equivalant to the LT4 setup. But for a car that hits the track from time to time (especially if u use slicks), I would say something stronger, I went with the Spec Stage II with steel flywheel. I dont hear that many good things about Ram clutches except from the hardcore cars. I have a friend with a Centerforce Dual Friction that works great and another with a Spec Stage III that is also great, so I guess take your pic...
