No fire in Firebird...

So, after a year or so of sitting without running, we finally got the Firebird out of the garage, the trans rebuilt, and all put back together. We poured in a couple buckets of clean 104 octane, and tried to start her.... We have absolutely no fire. It never coughed or sputtered or popped. Took the ICM and the coil in to autozone and had them tested, both in good condition. The opti-spark has less than 500 miles on it, and was installed when we stroked the motor a couple years ago. Tried starting the car, both with, and without the MSD ignition box hooked up, and got nothing. With the 383 kit, we had an engine tune made and it has been installed. The real bitch of this, is that when the car went into storage about a year ago, it ran just fine.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, we would love to hear them!

Thanks!

383 stroker.

Re: No fire in Firebird...

Check the fuel pressure.

Scan for codes.

Check for spark at each plug.
