so... headers?

whats the difference/advantage/disadvantage with 1 3/4 as opposed to 1 7/8 long tube headers and which do y'all recommend?

If you have a large motor over 400 cu then go with the 1 7/8 other wise just use the smaller headers. The larger headers will cost you low end power on a smaller motor.

That depends on the rest of your exhaust. If you still have the stock exhaust system after your headers it won't help at all.

I have an '02 Z-28 LS1 with Kooks 1-3/4 long tube headers,catted,02 sensors,with a Magnaflow muffler the rest of the exhaust is stock. The car IS louder than before the headers. 346 rwhp 356 rwt

i did say it was stock with the exception of my cutout which is electric and open 98% of the time will it make that louder is what im asking.

Yes it will be louder with the cut out open. The headers will flow more air out, so the cut out will make it even louder, as in get a ticket louder.
