turn signal/brake issue

turn signal/brake issue
Very recently I noticed that my turn signal for turning left does not click on and off it just stays solid when its turned on. The turn signals do not turn on either. Also the brake light for the left side doesn't turn on either when the brakes are pushed. But when I turn my lights on the brake light turns on but doesn't react still with the brake pedal. I'm thinking its the multifunction stick needs to be replaced but I don't know for sure. Any ideas?

I had the same problems at one point. for the turn signals- you probably only need a new flasher until. easy to do.
as for the brake bulbs, make sure that the bulb sockets are not allowing water into the compartment or they may be corroded. mine were and i replaced them with after market sockets because the stock were like $50-$100 a piece.

Re: turn signal/brake issue
Okay, my brake light never did this until the turn signal stopped working. and it does light up when i turn on my lights just not when i push the brakes. i read some where that the brakes are wired through the same switch that controls the blinkers.

I would classify those issues as unrelated unless there is some other electrical issue that I am unaware of.
